I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience of this: basically I want to run my computer through my TV so when my friends come round we can watch DVD's through it on the TV in my bedroom (I'm most probably going to be getting rid of my PS2 and XBOX so can't use them...)
I am going to use an S-Video Cable from my PC to a Scart adapter on my TV which has the Phono/Composite inputs plus an S-Video input. I am just wondering what you think the picture quality will be like? It's a fairly new TV and when watching DVD's etc through my PS2 the picture is crystal clear, sharp, vivid colours etc. Do you reckon I'll get the same quality with the input coming from my PC?
These are what I'm thinking of getting, I know the cable is long but I'm going to have to route it over a door so need a bit of extra length, there are cables that probably are of a much better quality but they are rather expensive and I don't have an awful lot of money to play with (unless I sell my XBOX etc before I get the cables/adapter)

I think the prices are quite good for them, and free delivery as well.
