hard disks was 1.99gb

i have win2k and 2 hard disk on my pc
first one is 10 gb
second one is 4 gb

so...

i formatted my hard disk for some reason , and installed win2k on my first hard disk 10gb , using fat32 . after i installed it i went up and checked up the properties of my second hard disk , it was only 1.99gb it was suppose to be 4gb
i formatted both drive first one & second one
why did this happen ?

What did you use to format it with? And what filesystem did you do it with?

Just from the looks of it, it sounds like you've formatted it as FAT16, which has a limitation of 2GB per partition.
