The other day I upgraded my graphics card, on boot I then recieved an error message. " __ FAILED TO BOOT, BOOT FROM DISC" Something along those lines. I have checked all connection wires to my master hard-drive and they are all fine! The hard drive is brand new! So I doubt its bust
Some websites have suggested wiping my hard drive clean but this is a last resort for me.
    Any suggestions?
p.s - Collectors edition star wars old republic is sitting next to my computer taunting me.

If you put back the old graphics card, does it work fine then? In that case it's most likely to be caused by insufficient power from the power supply (the graphics card consumes so much power that it can't power up the drives correctly).

Yep, I tried using the old graphics card again, got the same error message on boot. :( I did give the computer a quick hoover when installing the upgraded graphics card so there should only be two connections comming from my hard-drive right? the connection to the motherboard and to the power supply?

That's correct. Could you make sure that the cables are still connected properly to the hard drive and the motherboard? Are you able to try a different data cable for your hard drive?
