Hey, I'm looking for a 1TB, 3.5in, SATA 300 internal hard drive to store my pictures, music and games on. My budget is up to $100 and I was thinking something like 7200 rpm and 32MB cache. Any suggestions?

I read a lot of reviews suggesting to steer clear of WD green and blue drives. This Seagate is perfect. SATA 3, 32mb cache, 7200rpm.

    yeah the green/blue drives suck.
i bought one thinking it was probably okay and it was on sale.
the specs are not very clear on speed, but its noticeable comparing my other faster drives.
i read up it has something to do with power saving so it spins slow to save power and spins up when demand is high.
i would judge that they are good for storage and not for performance for money invested.
