Hi, They should be able to work together, the card is a pci-e 2.0 card. I think the board has a 2.0 slot as well, but even if it is 1.1, the card should still work. Are you able to try the card in another pc to check that it is ok? Also, I read that the card needs at least a 550W power supply with 2 connectors that attach directly to the card. If those are not hooked up, the card may not run at all or could damage the card. Also, if your power supply is starting to go, it may not be providing enough power on the rails to run the card.
