    Hi
    Iam running 701 mhz intel pentium 3 processor with 160 ram and a onboard video card. my problem is that my HDD LED wont light up after the computer is turned on. so when i push the power button only then its on for 2- sec after that it wont light even when windows is loading it is expected to light up since harddisk is in use but it just wont.

    how can it be faulty when it lights up for a while, where shuld i check to fix it.

    Perhaps the connectors aren't properly seated, or there is a malfunction. A similar problem has been posted before and no one knew how to remedy it.

    Does it really matter, though, as its only a LED?

    if hes a modder thats a freakin heart attack, but yea otherwise its not THAT bad lol

    I had the exact same problem ... try switching the polarity. Worked for me! (simple answer but I know next to nothing about electronics so ... !!)
