So, shortly - I accidetally spilled some lemonade on my laptop. At first it kinda worked, but now.. the HDD doesn't get any power. Everything else works though. Loger story here: http://www.hardwareforums.com/laptop-lemonade-random-failures-25479/ The question I would like to ask is - How logical it is that something on M/B failed, so that the power goes everywhere else except HDD, but the HDD is itself fine? I ask this simply because if this isn't very logical, and the problem itself is most likely in HDD I could just switch it myself (almost like PnP ), and it would be a lot cheaper and faster to fix. However if the problem could be somewhere else I should probably let the professionals handle it. My logic tells me that if the fault were somewhere before HDD it would also affect other components. But that's just me though..
