hi i have had to reinstall my os (windows xp)and i have a tools disk that come along side the system disc. i have looked on the disc and there are no set up files to install the drivers for this(fast ethernet111) and the ethernet controller either. Been to the VIA website and downloaded the latest drivers which are zipped.Unzipped them and still cant find setup for installing them.Looked at all files and nothing that will install. Do i have to put these anywhere for them to install?tried putting them into system32 drivers no luck.try doing update hardware aqnd it cant find them even when i direct it to them. it wants to connected to the internet to find them but it cant cause no drivers to do that help been going round in circles.got use of another computer with internet access so any ideas or downloads ?

Sounds like they are in .INI format.
If they are, go to device manager and right click on the adapter and select Update Drivers > Then follow these steps:
    1.http://www.321imagehosting.com/files/1.jpg
    2.http://www.321imagehosting.com/files/2.jpg
3.CLick have disk and point it to where the extracted .INI files are and select the driver to be installed > http://www.321imagehosting.com/files/3.jpg
4.After all that's done, click next on thes page > http://www.321imagehosting.com/files/4.jpg, and then after they're installed, click finish and restart and it *shhould* work.
