Help with Motherboard/RAM Compatibility

    I am considering getting the HP Compaq dx2400 at this link Newegg.com - HP Compaq dx2400(KA573UT#ABA) Pentium dual-core E2180(2.00GHz) 512MB DDR2 80GB Intel GMA 3100 Windows Vista Business / XP Professional downgrade - Desktop PCs

    And I want to take out the 512mb it comes with and insert 2 1GB at this link Newegg.com - A-DATA 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

    All of the specs seem to match up, but i am new at this. Can anyone tell me if it is compatible, or tell me how i can find out if it is?

    generally you only have problems upgrading the RAM if you keep the existing RAM & try to match new RAM with existing RAM, but, because your removing the 512 stick, so, you should not have any probs because both are DDR2800 (PC26400)
