    Help!!!!
I need to network my 2 computers, so that pc#2 can connect to my broadband independantly (when my comp #pc1) is switched off.
can I just cheat and use 2 networking cards, connected bnc-bnc?

Most broadband modems have two connections and that is USB and RJ-45 so assuming your modem is connected to PC#1 via USB your PC#2 should be able to connect to the broadband modem using the spare RJ-45 connection!
Just some small reconfiguration on PC#2 is needed!

Bad, bad advice from pelvis_3. I advise just buying or building a router. It's simpler, more secure, and it'll make your Windows systems last a lot longer before they're compromised in some way. It's totally worth it.
