hooking 3 Laptops to a laser printer

im trying to hook up 3 laptops to a laser printer. can i use a usb box that has 4 ports and hook up the laptops through those ports or how can i do this.
 
That's an interesting idea. However, I'm not sure how it'd work as USB really wasn't a traditional networking protocol.

The best way I can think of is to have the printer hooked up to a network if it has an RJ-45 jack on it. If not, install it on one of the laptops and have it shared. Then you can remotely access them with the other laptops.
