I have a 'new' laptop that I got from work. A coworkers' neighbor spilled wine on her laptop, and wouldn't work any more. He pulled all the info off the HDD for her, and gave me the laptop. So now I have a dead, HDD-less laptop. The laptop is really nice, so I'd like to see if I could resurrect it. I have completely disassembled to laptop, but now I need to get to the 'cleaning' part of it. Does anyone here have any ideas on how I could do this? My coworker said it'd be a good idea to use distilled or deionized water on it, but I just want to make absolutely sure of it. So does anyone have any recommendations?
