how to connect two computers

we are two friends and we both have laptops , can anybody tell us how to connect two computers

connecting the laptops together is easy as most laptops nowadays have integrated NICs (network interface card) all you need is an Ethernet cable (CAT5 crossover cable) connecting both laptops together with their RJ45 sockets

an RJ45 socket looks like:

this & this is where you connect the Ethernet cable on both laptops

but i have to ask why do you want to connect these 2 laptops together ?
