How do you find out whether or not your CPU has HT (Hyper Threading) technology? Mine is a P4 3.2 ghz and I think it said something like SiS 964 on the chip.
simply press CTRL=ALT=DEL in windows xp, click the PERFORMANCE tab then look at the cpu chart. if you see two or more cpu charts then you have HT. If you have win98 HT wont work anyway but if you check your bios it will say "Enable HT" or something only if your mobo supports it go here if you have problems Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor Hyper-Threading Technology Test Utility, version [CTHXX08.MSI]
