How to move disk image to another disk?

    Hi,
    I have a 1TB Samsung SATA drive, 50gb partition (C drive OS win XP)
    I want to move the image to a WD 80gb SATA Drive, 50gb partition.
    I have tried norton ghost to no avail. - Image copies ok, bios can see WD80gb HDD but cant boot from it. What am i doing wrong? I have done this many times with IDE drives.

    maybe the boot order in the bios is not configured correctly...

    also, after restoring the image of the partition, you also need to get your mbr and boot manager back....your os, even though copied correctly will not boot without proper mbr and boot loader or boot manager configuration
