As in the title, i can type the s key after i start my pc for a random period of time. However, at some point, i cannot do it even with onscreen keyboard and another 2 keyboard. How do I fix it? Please help me, because i have no idea what to do.

I am running Windows 7 x86 (32 bit) Ultimate and I did try to scan my pc with spybot but it didn't detect anything. Also I have avast av but I haven't scanned with it.

I posted it here and on the hardware forum because i dunno if this is an os problem or hardware problem, so sorry if i posted in the wrong section.

Please post once only per issue, thanks.

It seems like a Windows problem to me, but that's easy to verify for sure. Just download and burn a live Linux distro then boot to it. If it happens in Linux too, it's hardware. If not, it's Windows.

that's not an option because I don't have any cd/dvd-roms, plus it seems to be a rather unusual problem.

In a game, I pressed a combination of shift+ i dunno what other key and because of that I couldn't type the s key. Now, just when I run BS Player ( i tried some random shift combos to unfix the problem while i ran bs player). I have no clue whatsoever as to how to fix this.

Thanks for the reply and I hope you can give me more advice.
