    Hi,

Recently, I had major security problems with Windows OS made me decide to install Linux along with Windows for internet use. A friend of mine sugested I should buy an extra hard drive as my old one won't sustain two OSs alone.
    I have a few-year-old, 160-gb hard drive.

What do you think, because I don't know much about these stuff?

    Thanks in advance.

All you have to do, Is split the hard drive into two partitions.. What OS are you using now ? And What version of Linux do you plan on using ? This will give you a dual boot system..But you must have Windows on the first partition .....

    Hi,

I have Windows XP; and I didn't quite made up my mind between Ubuntu and Mint, so I'll try both first..
So, my hard drive is sufficient?

Oh yea! 160 is more than enough, I once had a Quad Boot...I would give XP about 60-80 gigs, and the rest to linux..
