bought one of these the other day to fit in my server as an additional network card

anyway i have fitted it but it came with a little 3-wired lead with a 3 pin connector on each end

if i fix oone end to the network card where the hell should the other end be going? on the motherboard ?

    thanks for any help

If you're going to use the Wake On Lan (WoL) function (assuming your motherboard supports this feature), then that's what it's for. Otherwise, if you can remove it, do so. If not, tuck it away.
