    Hello,

I am facing a strange problem with my PC. I have a Intel Pentium 4 3.4 GHZ (HT) processer with a Intel 945 GNTL Motherboard. My system is 3 months old.

Its works well. But last night i noticed that when i boot the computer, the starup screen (showing intel logo ) changed. Previous it shows the intel P4 (ht) logo and some text i.e. Pentium4 (HT), but now it just display the simple Intel LOGO, it just removes the text (PENTIUM 4) and (HT) from the logo.

I am really worried that why this happens and what is the purpose of this.

Hows its possible to change this screen. ITs my personal home computer, not a public computer

Please help me in this regard.

    Eshban

If your computer is still functioning, then I don't see that you have a problem.

Have you flashed your BIOS recently, or changed any settings in the CMOS setup?

Well you've just answered your own question! If there is an option in the CMOS setup to change the boot screen, do it! :)

I think megamaced hit it on the head. Some motherboards have the option to not display certain info. If you're not loosing any performance or having stability issues, I wouldn't be too terribly concerned with the BIOS option. You may also want to make sure you didn't accidentally make some changes that you shouldn't have. If you're unsure, you can always go into BIOS and load the default settings ---there should be an option on the main menu to do so.

Thanks for reply, but i set the apply the "DEFAULT Settings" in bios. But nothing will happens.

It is very strange that how the INTEL BOOT SCREEN CHANGED. I SEE MY BIOS setup, and there is "NO OPTION" in it, to change that screen.

Now what can i do. Is it an error???
