is my processor faulty ??

    my pc wont boot up at all not even to do a POST, no beeps no nothing . psu is fine cpu fan is on case fan is on graphics is on (but no display at all ) hdd is making no noise at all but my cdr and dvd lights are blinking on and off i have replaced the motherboard,psu and graphics but still same problem.
    Please help

    What CPU/Mobo/PSU/Graphics do you have?

    Memory, test your memory in a different system to make sure its working.

    Sounds like a memory problem.

    Also if your memory doesn't work in another system, put some memory which you KNOW works into your computer and run it, if it works you know its the memory, if it doesnt its going to be your CPU.

    It is am AMD Athalon xp 1800, K7S5A mobo (sis 735 chipset),350w psu and a g-force six graphics card. I have two memory modules installed is it possable that both sticks are faulty ?

    It's possible but very unlikely.

    The PSU if its a generic brand *could* be the cause, but then again you don't have a lot of power hungry power.
