my eye! I might have the numbers wrong but its how the BBC explained it. David Beckham earns £4m a year at Real Madrid but has to give them half of what he earns from adverts n all that crap. That works out to be £13m (he must earn £26m) Then LA footy team offer him a 5 year contract for $250m (£128m, but £125 for arguments sake) PLUS he gets to keep his "out of work" earnings.... (£26m at the moment) Thats $50m + £26m ($50m) a year.... = $2m a week! minus income tax of course But its not for the money.
haha...thats wat popularity and the talent is......... Make something great in IT and sell it...You can also earn like that in one go Millions/billions
Thats where luck comes... Its like you have a Business running and giving u profit of millions of dollars a month. But one night a earthquake comes and that business falls down.. You will lost that business coz You can only get money from insurance but those other companies who are taking products from ur company would never like to wait and will go with other one.... So U had a something with you but it doesnt work always nd thats where luck/God comes.....
I disagree with the outrageous salaries and pay=outs some people make...whether it's sports, music, movies, television, politics, or industry...but... at the same time... they earned it...eg. you don't get to be a highly-payed athlete by sitting on your hands doing nothing...they spent countless hours in the gym, running, getting involved through school and outside school...working up the ranks from junior leagues to the majors... you can't just walk into Yankee Stadium and get a job as a pitcher
