I have to enter the command 'killall esd' to get the sound working in Wolfenstein. The problem is that this kills all the sound in Ubuntu after I've finished playing the game. I was wondering what's the opposite of this command? How do I restart my sound?
It's not as simple as that. Alsa is running because Wolfenstein has sound. The only way (that I know of) to bring back the sound in Ubuntu is by restarting X
