Source: CNET Linux software seller Linspire is planning to offer a free version of its Linux desktop operating system called Freespire, the company announced on Monday. Users can download the first beta release beginning in August. Last September, Linspire announced plans to offer a free version of its desktop operating system for a limited time. That release was called Linspire Five-0. There's something about Linspire that really turns me off. Prehaps it's because it's too much like Windows....
