[google]Spyware Search and Destroy[/google] is also another good one. Should be used together with Ad-aware.

The problem that I am having on my computer is I have an icon in my systray that flashes between a handycap symbol and a stop sign symbol. About every three minutes a small popup above the systray come up saying "Critical System Error! System detected virus activities. They may cause critical system failure. Please use animalware software to clean and protect your system from parasite programs. Click here to get all available software."

I've tried everything to remove this vicious peace of spyware. It comes up even if I'm in safe mode and its undetectable on the task manager. I've used everything including: Avg Anti-virus, Spybot S&D, Ad-Aware, Spysweeper, and Spy Doctor and nothing has been able to remove it. What can be done to fix this. Please help me if you can. Thank You.

    Hi,
If you cannot see the process in taskmanager, try this:
    Open command prompt
    Start > Run > CMD > OK

    Show Tasks
Type in: "tasklist /svc /fo table" without the quotes.

This will show ALL running processes.

Post a screenshot of the processes this shows.
Also, please can you download HijackThis.

Run it & click "Do a system scan & save a log file".
Once the scan has completed post it here.

    Hope this helps
