Lotsa Major Software Updates!

thanks Anti-Trend

updated Firefox seems to be working fine! Though people are having problems, as reported on their forums!

Fire Fox is not doubt more efficient than exploerer. But,.... there is a BUT  ,....There are certain website and online video streaming players which firefox wouldn't open lets see if the update does anything about that,....

yeh, some sites dont even let you, use firefox! I guess there arent aware of it yet or something?!

What happens is Firefox decodes HTML differently than Explorer, and is probably more rigid than Explorer.

The reason why some sites do not work in Firefox (probably) is because up until very recently, there weren't any standards for HTML. Now that XHTML 1.0 and 1.1 Strict are out, I think you'll start to see less and less of these problems.

The programmers are at fault here, not the browser.

You just need an embedded browser plugin appropriate to each stream. IE comes with lots of proprietary plugins, but you must download them seperately for Firefox. That's one of it's priciples, actually: nice and streamlined outta the box, and add functionality as you need it! Keeps it nice & non-bloated, yet flexible (just like I like my women!) :p

Well spoken, friend! Truth is, Firefox [Mozilla, Netscape] is not broken, but MS is trying to create more proprietary "standards" (Hint: There's no such thing!).
