Today I turned on my computer as usual, and my fan (Cooler Master) started spinning 2-3x faster than usual (judging by noise). After, with PC Wizard 2008 I saw that my MB temp is 128deg C. And no, not F, C. So as I think this is the maximum temp. possible, it must be a sensor mistake.

Now, I know I can ignore it cause its nothing, but I think it makes my fan work faster (but not in turbo mode I think) and it makes a lot of noise, which bothers me....

Is there a way to reduce fan speed, or by fixing sensor or by manual reduction?

    My config:
    Win. XP Pro SP3,
    Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200 @ 2.50 GHz,
    2GB DDR2 RAM
    MB: MSI G31TM-P35 (MS-7529)
    ATI Radeon HD 4350
