Not sure where this belongs, as there is no section for Domains, Terminal servers or Active Directory. Networking is the closest that I could find.
We have a newly formed domain. So far we have 4 workstations that we have migrated onto it through active directory.
We have been adjusting settings and we can now manage these PC's through Group Policies but is there anyway of viewing files stored on the local HDD?
We need to be able to monitor what users are storing locally as we have lots of "naughty" users, who are using their workstations as their own personal equipment. By this I mean they are storing mp3s, mpegs and unauthorised software.
If this can not be done is there any way of logging on remotely as the administrator while the user is still active on the domain account? Or even another way. Has anyone encountered this problem before?
