Hi
I have noticed that my new Mandriva installaion (2006) is starting really slow.
Pressing Esc while loading I noticed it gets stuck when it comes to the following line:
Then it hold for a while and then goes on to say
The same scenario repeats it self for eth1.
When all this is done the reat laods no problems and of I go. But those two things really slow the laoding process up. When I was running 2005 it never happenned and laoding was really fast. I was just wondering if these two interfaces are really important as I do not use my ethernet capabilities. Not for connection with other computers and not for connecting to my ADSL modem. Can I stop them from being "Brought up" during start-up?
Thanks!
