Hey everyone, I'm having a little trouble with a pc that I setup. I've got an ACorp 7KT600 MOBO, AMD Athlon XP 3000+ CPU, and 2 x PC2700 512 ram sticks. The trouble I'm having is getting the clock speeds setup properly. I'm not looking to overclock at this point, but just get it set right. So I'm probably off, but I assume that the PC2700 RAM is made for 166mhz speed, the CPU is 166mhz and the motherboard's FSB should be set to 166mhz?

    Thanks in advance!

pc2700 ram = ddr333 ram when at double data rate = 166mhz bus
    athlon 3000+ = 333mhz when at double data rate = 166mhz bus
    cpu multiplier = 13

not sure if setting your clock speeds to auto will achieve these results but if it does just leave it on auto.
some motherboards might have this issue and you have to set it manually to get the acutal speed but almost all will get it right.

but yeah you pretty much got it right.
