some cpus support "trusted execution technology", does one need a special motherboard to make use of this feature ?

Personally, I usually feel that the list of technologies utilized by a CPU is just a load of worthless information - marketing. I think that one would really need some specific software to completely exercise all of the features supported by modern CPUs.
