New build won't power up. The top of my MOBO touched the carpet for a half a second. I tried paper clip trick on PSU and it turned on. Fan on PSU spun and optical drives opened and closed. Is my MOBO fried? How do i find out?
disconnect the power switch from the motherboards control panel, and short the two pins with a flat head screw driver. see if your machine posts.
