the ASUS Striker Extreme mobo supports up to 1333mhz memory

the Q6600 specs say it only has a 1066mhz FSB

would I get any benefits by getting the 1333 mhz memory or would it be limited to 1066 by the processor?

what if i OC the processor, can I use faster memory and get benifits?

At stock, you could run the RAM faster. However, the Core series processors loves bandwidth, so overclocking would help as well. Usually, people buy faster RAM if they are overclocking for additional headroom. It's not to say you can't overclock memory matching your FSB speed, but you may not get as far with regular (as opposed to performance-grade) RAM.
