Motherboard-appropriate Components

I recently acquired a Soyo SY-KT400 motherboard and accompanying CPU. While fairly outdated, it's still superior to my current setup, an old Dell Dimension 4100. To support the new motherboard and a graphics card, I'll be buying a new power supply, additional RAM, and moving all the components to a new case.

The Soyo manual stipulates that the AGP card use 1.5V, not 3.3V. I've been unable to determine which the above graphics card is.

Assuming the graphics card is compatible, will that power supply be sufficient for the graphics card and motherboard, as well as 2 DVD/CD drives, 1-2 hard drives, and a floppy drive? MSI recommended 400W, and Soyo recommends at least 350W. Additionally, Soyo says this:

Make sure the ATX power supply can take at least 720 mA * load on the 5V Standby lead (5VSB) to meet the standard ATX specification.

* Note: If you use the Wake-On-LAN (WOL`) function, make sure the ATX power supply can support at least 720 mA on the 5V Standby lead (5VSB).

Is this power supply compatible, and are there any other problems I've overlooked with this setup?

the grafx card is 8X / 4X, so it is 1.5V, i think 3.3V was only for the original AGP cards (1X)

themaltake are a decent brand, however, your choice is not very good IMO, it may say it's 430W, but, if you look the efficiency is 65%, so if you times the wattage (430W) by the efficiency 65%, 430 X 65% = 279.5, so the actual wattage is 279.5W, which is less than Soyo recommends without mentioning MSI recommendation, and it's only got single rails not dual

yes it's compatible but it's not powerful enough, look @ some of Antec PSU's, personally i have an Antec TP Trio 550W & my hardware is aging

Actually, that power supply should do just fine for that generation. The focus is still on the +5V and +3.3V more than the +12V. While I wouldn't recommend it if you'd upgrade to an Athlon64 or late Pentium 4/D or Core 2 based system, for the K7 Athlon family, it's a good choice.
