i have a problem with the windows 2000 i have just put on my computer, i have done a full fresh install and everything looked fine except it looks to running a little slow, after i looked at the process running there appeared to be a few anti virus software running at start up but i have a problem, i did the usual thing and go to msconfig, but when i try to run it it just says the file or location is missing what’s wrong its a brand new install.

Windows 2000 does not have msconfig.

Instead, right click my computer and click manage. Down the right hand side you will see a sub-section called 'Services & Applications'. Expand it and click on 'Services'. From here you can enable or disable programs and services at will :)
