Hi, I was looking this up, but it's still unclear for me. I have an AMD Athlon II x4 620 processor with 2.6 Ghz base speed and AM3 socket. I was wondering how relevant it was to get a motherboard with HyperTransfer rate(MT/s)/megatransfers per second that supported that speed. It seemed that you had to divide the MT/s by half and you'd have the speed in Ghz, so if my processor is 2.6 ghz, does my motherboard have to have 5200 MT/s minimum to support its speed, otherwise it'll be lowered?
