do you know what type of BIOS you have? your BIOS is normally near the watch battery on your motherboard (but not always).

it will most likely look like one of these

BIOS beep codes vary depending on what type of BIOS you have so knowing what type of bios you have will make this alot easier :)

it *might* be a memory (RAM) problem, if you have more than one stick of memory try removing them one at a time and see if that helps, or if you can, try using RAM from another computer.

when you say it 'loads up' how far does it get? do you see the POST screen (black screen with plenty of text that you see when you first turn your computer on) or a logo of the manufacturer of your motherboard? does it even start to load the operating system?

hello thanks for the reply. I got it to do something .It still beeps the same and if i play around with my computer it starts up and goes to the memory test then after that it comes to a screen that says cpu at the top left says cpu clock 166mhz and top right says 256k . I got this info from my computer pentium-s. I think i found the bios chip under the cooling fan and it says this
    a80502150 sy015
    L6262379-1307
    Intel 92,93,
Iwould have to say this is an old computer but it work great when it worked.I pulled it out of storage and it start all these problems. Thanks

if that doesn't work, try a different video card..
