it's not a problem with upgradeing your RAM because your M/B supports up to 512Mb :good: (256Mb in each slot), not sure about HDD you may be restricted to 50Gb (unless you flash your BIOS)
i don't see a problem using IEEE with your setup

hope someone can give you more input about HDD

Hey thanks for the quick response.

Could you give more details on flashing BIOS?

and where does IEEE socket fits in is it in PCI or something else? Sorry if its a dumb qn.

Thanks

hi, more info on BIOS flashing is available here or your M/B manufactures website, but be VERY VERY carefull flashing your BIOS (cos a power failure during a flash will probably kill your M/B, just be carefull)
as for IEEE you just need a USB cable and software

Hi Thanks for the reply

I believe IEEE 1394 is not the USB but it will hv a different socket and cable( Firewire Cable/i.link cable). and i want to know if it fits on my motherboard .
