    Hello everybody.
A few weeks ago I took my desktop, which I had bought and used in Canada, to my home country in Europe. To deal with shipping, with size and weigh, I had to leave the monitor and take only the case (tower), mouse and keyboard.
After I changed the red switch switch from 110V to 220V, I connected it with the monitor and the power supply. But unfortunately I could see nothing but a blank and unsteady screen. Is there any problem between my main unit produced in USA and the screen produced in Europe?
Can they always be connected together?
Is there anything else I can do to make it work properly?
    Thank you in advance.

If the power supply's been switched over to 220V, it should be fine to work there and connected to something manufactured in Europe. There are certain standards that have to be followed for things to be compliant.

Well, lets start with some basic, 'duh' stuff. A lot of power supplies have an on/off switch on them, check that. Second, make sure the power switch on your case is connected to your motherboard. I'd also double-check the voltage switch to make sure it's all the way over.

I'd check my connections inside the unit first as well as any signs of damage that might've occured during shipping.
