I have an HD radeon 6870 and an asus 247h monitor and I want to be able to switch from HDMI and DVI whenever I want, but I can not get the DVI to work. Please please help me thanks!
Hi, Usually one of the buttons on the front of the monitor can change between input modes, whether its DVI, RGB, or HDMI. There may also be an option for autoselect. I'm not sure how well it works though if you have multiple cables running into the monitor though (ie both an HDMI and a DVI at the same time). You may have to shut the monitor off, turn on the new source, then turn the monitor back on to see if it can detect the new input.
