Need vista supported mobo for my Intel 3.4 ht processor

    can i attach my Intel 3.4 HT process on some Vista supported Motherboard like Intel 965. if yes then which mobo.

    please guide

    As long as it's an LGA775 chip, yes, any P965-based board will be fine for Vista. The motherboard probably won't include the latest chipset drivers, so you'll want those handy on a CD or something before you do the upgrade, but that's it. People are running Vista on P965 motherboards now.

    As for the motherboard, what needs/wants do you have? What price are you looking at for a new one?

    its still to early to upgrade your operatin system to vista because it causes too many problems and there is still a few directx10 games so no need for vista

    your old mobo will work on vista too unless you install any chipset drivers just get sound drivers and it will certainly work the computer in dad's office is just using 3.4ht processor and working under vista home premium and business both together without any problem and the mobo is i925x abit

    try working at first before buying a new mobo because industrial standards is still changing to ddr3 1333mhz fsb wait for a while than you may change the entire system
