I just changed over from a 6600 (running monitor + tv through svideo) to a TwinTech 8800GTS, and I cant seem to get both displays working.
When I first powered up the tv was working but monitor wasnt, at which point I realised the monitor wasnt plugged in lol.

Anyway plugged it in and rebooted, and lost the image from the TV. Ran the multiple display wizard, a picture flashed up on the TV then disappeared again, and only the monitor appears in the list of displays.

Could it be an inadequate power supply or some other issue?

Have you check the display settings on display property settings.

Yeah, it only shows my monitor, doesnt show the TV.
When I run the multiple display wizard, a picture will show up on the TV for about 2 seconds, before it goes back to black again :(

Have you use a s-video connector, which type.

I don't know about the 8-series drivers, but the 4,5,7 series drivers all have the option "Force TV detection" (using S-Video cable, of course).
