So, I'm getting a new Gaming Rig soon and I wanted to know whether or not you think this will be good for a high-end gaming pc, keep in mind I don't have a hugh budget.

    Processor (CPU)
    INTEL® Core 2 Duo E6600 (2 X 2.40GHz) 1066MHz FSB/4MB L2 Cache

    Memory (RAM)
    2048 MB CORSAIR XMS2 800MHz - LIFETIME WARRANTY! (2x1GB)

    Motherboard
    ASUS® P5N32-E SLI+: Quad-core CPU Ready, NVIDIA® Dual X16 SLI

    Operating System
WINDOWS® VISTA Home Premium (inc Genuine CD & License)

    USB Options
    6 x USB 2.0 PORTS (4 REAR + 2 FRONT) AS STANDARD

    Memory - 1st Hard Disk
    74GB WD Raptor® SATA 16MB CACHE (10000rpm)

    2nd Hard Disk
    74GB WD Raptor® SATA 16MB CACHE (10000rpm)

    RAID (HDD 1 & 2)
    RAID 0 (STRIPE)

    1st CD/DVD Drive
    20x DVD±RW/RAM/Dual Layer + Lightscribe (48 x CD-RW)

    Graphics Card
    768MB GEFORCE 8800GTX PCI Express + DVI + TV-OUT

    Sound Card
    Sound Blaster® X-Fi™ XtremeGamer 7.1:

    Network Facilities
ONBOARD 10/100/1000 GIGABIT LAN PORT (ETHERNET)

    Memory Card Reader
INTERNAL 52 IN 1 CARD READER (READS XD, MS, CF, SD, etc)

    Case
Black Neon Bubble case + Neon Extreme Kit!

    Power Supply & Case Cooling
850W Quiet Five Rail PSU + 120mm Case Fan

    Processor Cooling
ZALMAN CNPS9700 NT TRITIUM SUPER AERO COOLER

Now, I've thought it over and I've decided to scrap the 150GB WD Raptor® X Clear Cover SATA 16MB CACHE (10000rpm) and go for two 74GB WD Raptor® SATA 16MB CACHE (10000rpm) and have RAID 0. I'll use one for all my gaming, music etc. And the other will have Vista, or maybe XP on.

Thoughts and suggestions? I might liquid cool my PC when I get the extra money, any suggestions on what I should cool? E.G. CPU, etc? And What sort of cooling system I should go for aswell.

Looks brilliant, my guess is that it would run anything you throw at it at this day on highest settings without breaking a sweat

    Looks good.

Personally i'm not into striping my hdd's, too much risk. But two Raptors zero'd should see a nice increase when loading.

A GTX will handle any current DX9 game at upto and including a resolution of 1920x1200 but if you're gaming that high i'd consider going for a faster core2. No point going Ultra, huge price increase for the additional performance over the GTX.

I'd consider a different hsf and get an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro, marvellous piece of kit.

    A nice setup.

Look at Intel Desktop Board D975XBX2. It is fine for high-end gaming. Designed on Extreme series of Intel.
