NEW GeForce 8600GT installed,but need some HELP !!!!!!!!

:confused: Hi i installed a new 8600GT card recently and when playing games every thing is in slow motion and has a couple of seconds delay,i thought it could be the PSU so i upgraded to a 500 WATT unit,and i still have the same problem,i have installed the latest driver even upgraded more RAM,when i exit the games i am getting e blue screen with words saying(A PROBLEM HAS ENCOUNTED WITH YOUR COMPUTER) then the screen goes back to the log on part of Windows,i cannot read the rest of this error report ,as it only stays on for a couple of seconds,i have removed the old onboard graphics driver,can someone please advise...............Cheers WEG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Well, what are the specs of this system right now, including the power supply? Right now, we can make some guesses, but nothing solid.
 
Hi BIG B,my specs are as follows,Intel pentium 4 3.2ghz,2 gig corsair PC 3200 dual channel DDR memory,PCI-E GeForce 8600GT graphics card, the rig is a Gateway 524GB,with Intel D915GAG M/Board,PS...would i be correct in saying that the 8600GT takes it power from the PCI-E slot,or do i need a diferent power supply,oh,the PSU is iCUTE extreme cool 500WATT......Hope this helps your question...Cheers WEG.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:confused:
