New Mobo

    Ok guys, need some help here once again
    Current MobO is
    ABIT AN8 32X ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail at Newegg.com

    just overall not happy with it.
    1. Heat become an issues b/c of no onboad LAN i have to have an additional card installled for INternet.
    2. Heat...
    3. Heat

    And suggestions on a new MOBO....
    Needs to have SLI capibilities. i have two 7900GT's
    have two 1GB RAM chips
    and a Soud card...
    Price range 300USD or less...


    Current Processor:
    AMD Athlon 64 3700+ 2000MHz HT Socket 939 Processor - Retail at Newegg.com
    since i am going to be playing hardware intensive games and reccommendations on a cooling apparatus for this process would be great....

    and lastly my case:
    Lian Li PC-65B Black Computer Case With Side Panel Window - Retail at Newegg.com
    and recommendations on fans compatible with this case please share.....

    and any and all cooling items/products i can use to help keep things cool...

    just not liquid cooling ^_^

    There's integrated LAN on the board, but it may not be enabled in BIOS.

    What kind of temperatures are you getting? Have you felt the air inside the case?

    Could you please explain how i would do that?

    temp wise at the moment using my ABIT uGuru program CPU 39C
    SYS 36C
    and PWM 41C

    Those temps are well within reason. The passive cooling on that motherboard works very well.

    I don't have the manual for the AN8-32X, but when you get into BIOS, look in the Integrated Peripherials menu. It is most likely there. If you haven't, I would suggest reading the BIOS section in your manual. Abit typically has pretty robust manuals with their motherboards, and that includes the BIOS settings.

    OK went into BIOS turned in my LAN Card and still on luck wont work for some reason.... created a new connection and everything

    Is it showing up in Device Manager as a LAN card without problems?

    The D-Link is the card i installed... and the picture of my Network Connections:
    The INternet GateWay is what came up w/ my D-Link card installed
    and the LAC on the left is my D-Link Card's connection

    Allrighty, figured out the problem... finally found the right driver for my MObo....

    Yup, that'd do the trick. I saw your earlier post and I was about to suggest that. Glad ya got it working. :good:

    Haha, happy now... took out that D-Link Card.. put back in my second 7900GT

    and away I go.... so happy...and plus my HL2 mods run right
