So I'm looking to assemble my first computer and I found a pretty good deal on Newegg (given my price range and what I want to get out of my computer).

I am quite confused when it comes to the motherboard/case configuration.

This is the motherboard: Newegg.com - ASUS M4A785-M AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

This is the case: Newegg.com - Rosewill FB-02 Black ATX Mid Tower Computer Case, come with 1x 80mm Fan

I looked at the configuration of outputs on the motherboard and it doesn't match up with the case at all. Is this normal? The board is ATX as is the case.

I also don't see how the front audio/USB ports work with the motherboard. I'm assuming there are some cables that run on the inside of the computer to the ports?

I'm honestly confused here and would appreciate any help I can get.

If by "Configuration of outputs" you mean the back end of the computer where all the USB ports and stuff are, then don't worry - that part is always exchangeable (the motherboard will come with its own back plate that accomodates all of the ports), you can squeeze that part of the case by hand out.

The case has cables for the fronend ports and when you install the motherboard you have to attach those cables to the mobo proeprly (it's quite possible to guess from the labels on the cables and the ones by the appropriate motherboard pins, also consult the motherboard manual)

That case will work with that motherboard, But if you are not sure then there are allot of other cases that will work..You have to put on the rear backing plate first.
