Hello everybody, i'm new to this forum.

I bought a new Radeon X1650 PRO to replace my old radeon, and with that i also bought a new Creative Audigy sound card. Ever since i installed both of them, i've been having random crashes when playing any sort of audio on my pc. Either if it's a video on youtube, or a song from my documents, it freezes my pc and the song/video will skip continusly , just like a scratched cd.

Thing is, and i haven't submitted this into the wrong section i think, it's not my sound card, because today i've replaced it with my old one, which worked fine before, and now it still does it. So that only leaves the Video card.

My pc got Windows XP Pro, Asus 2.66Ghz, 1.56G Ram, Radeon X1650 Pro and currently using my old creative sound card, since the new one is out at the moment.

All my drivers are up to date and i have no errors on anything else, or damaged software. It's a mystery to me, and i've tried everything so pleaseee HELP!!

What is the brand name and wattage of your power supply?

It's by HEC, and total power out is 350W. Do you think that could be the cause then?

Yes ...Definitely. I recommend a 600 watt or higher.

The power supply unit in today's modern computer assumes a role probably more critical than any other single component in your system.

A poor PSU can also cause other components to fail in your computer.

The right Brand names = Quality
    Some approved Brand names follow...

    Seasonic - any model
    Corsair - any model
    Thermaltake - "Toughpower" series only
Coolermaster - "Real Power Pro" series only
PC Power & Cooling - any model
    Silverstone - any model

Oh, i got a 500W one now and it works fine. I will get a new pc very soon so i didn't bother going for something expensive or professional. Thanks very much for your help.
