    I just installed an ASUS P4P800SE mobo. I have a p4 2.8 gtz processor, Radeon 9600 256mb video card and 1gig pc2700 ram.

Anyways, when I boot up the computer, my monitor says "no signal" and my computer also beeps 1 long, then 6 short I believe. I have tried taking in and out my video card as well as trying my old one, still nothing. I also removed the CMOS battery and jumped the pins, still nothing. Any Ideas?

Are you sure it’s 1 long and 6 short beeps? make sure the graphics card is installed correctly, as well as the memory sticks, as often they do require a bit of pushing down when installing!

Do you know which BIOS you have. If you do then search for the beep codes for that particular BIOS. The beep codes should point you in the right direction.

It's either going to be an Award or AMI BIOS. Either way, it looks more like a video card error or memory problem.
