Looks like Nvidia is making the move to Intel based system, most likely becasue the AMD ATI merger.

Not surprising. I think we'll see nVidia eventually enable SLI on Intel chipsets. I'd be shocked in nVidia didn't, and, IMO, it's just a matter of when, not so much if.

Intel hasn't been without SLI so far. There's been nForce 4 motherboards for Intel. But yeah it's good to see support for the Core line.

well accoring to the link there Nvidia already has made an Intel based system with SLI. I don't know that much about the Conroe architecture, considering its brand new, but so far AMD has been for the greater majority a lot better for gaming, so i am still a little sceptical about how much better the Intel processors will be than AMD as far as gaming goes

SLI functionality has nothing to do with the CPU or chipset. It's the nVidia drivers which have a say in wether or not SLI is allowed to be enabled or not. ATi was doing the same thing with Crossfire, but they allowed drivers to allow Crossfire on Intel chipsets as well.
