    Hey All,

    New user here.

I own a computer which has been out-of-service for about 1 year. About a year ago I took out the CPU and accidentally damaged the prongs. When I reinstalled it the computer would not boot.

I am curious to know if its worth replacing the old CPU (at a cost of about (50)? Or instead if there are any parts I can use for a rebuild.

The computer has been collecting dust for about 1 year now and again it will not boot.

    Advice?

Where can I learn more about troubleshooting hardware problems like this?

    Thanks

    Vega-
