One more thing - upgradin my buddy's celeron (don't we all hate them celeries)

    Same as previous post, except my friend wants to upgrade her 766MHz (I think) Celeron (socket 8 - i'm not sure) to something better. Is there better socket 8 celeries? or something else?

    For socket 370 which that Celeron uses, you can get a 1GHz Celeron or a 1GHz P3 here

    That depends on what motherboard he has. If you've got a chipset that only supports the 66MHz FSB that Celeron is on (and I believe its the fastest and the last of the 66MHz FSB Celerons), you're pretty much stuck at what you have now. However, barring that, you should be able to go to a 1GHz PIII.

    There was a socket 8, but it was for Pentium Pro's and the Pentium II Overdrive. You have a socket 370 if it's a socket CPU. If not it's a Slot 1.
